Terri A. Ciau was appointed Deputy Director of the Licensing Division on January 9, 2006. She began State service over 37 years ago and has been in management the last 22 years including 17 years in regulatory programs. She has served the State in many capacities including budget manager, acting personnel officer, Licensing Manager, Division Chief for Licensing, Deputy Bureau Chief for Postsecondary and Vocational Program, Executive Officer for a Board and Acting Bureau Chief for several for various allied health programs. She was a key member of the team that implemented the first Statewide pilot program to implement on-line licensing for eight regulatory programs. Other state service includes participating in a program for performance-based budgeting and serving as a member of the California Performance Review. Ciau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.
