Sandy Standridge, Deputy Director

Sandy Standridge was appointed as Deputy Director of the Information, Planning and Support Services Division on May 2, 2005. She has more than 35 years of experience in California State government, with over 25 years in the Human Resources arena, and over ten years in supervisory and managerial positions. Prior to becoming Deputy Director, Standridge managed the Exam Unit, Office of Human Resources, at the Department of General Services from May 2001 through April 2005. Standridge worked at the Department of Corrections from October 1991 through April 2001, where she served in various capacities, including managing the CEA and Exempt Program which consisted of over 100 CEA and Exempt positions. She began her State service in 1972 with the Franchise Tax Board. Other State service includes the State Personnel Board, the Department of Personnel Administration and the Department of Social Services.
