Advisory Notice:
New State Finding of Suitability Application Form
In an effort to expedite the Finding of Suitability application process for Gaming Resources Suppliers/Financial Source Providers (vendors), the California Gambling Control Commission (Commission) and the Bureau of Gambling Control (Bureau) will be implementing a new Finding of Suitability application form. In addition to the new application form, a two-year renewal cycle will also be implemented.
New Finding of Suitability Application Form
The Application for Finding of Suitability (CGCC-100) form will be used for both initial and renewalapplications. The application will require a non-refundable $500.00 application fee and a background deposit, if applicable. Please note, section 1 of the application form provides instructions regarding information and forms that must be attached to the application.
New Renewal Process
A new renewal process will be implemented along with a two-year renewal cycle. The two-year renewal cycle will be completed in two-phases beginning with a rotation of the vendors by issuing renewal terms ranging from 18 to 24 months. Once the rotation process is complete, all approved vendor renewal applications will be renewed at two-year terms. The information below explains the new process.
- Vendors will be mailed courtesy renewal notices approximately 150-days prior to their Finding of Suitability expiration date. These notices will include the new Application for Finding of Suitability (CGCC-100) form.
- Vendors must submit their applications with appropriate fees/deposits and required information to the Commission 120-days in advance of their expiration date.
- After September 30, 2008, all approved renewal applications will be renewed at two-year terms.
