Interim Key Employee Regulations

Section 12347 in Title 4 of the California Code of Regulations will become effective January 1, 2008. This regulation allows non-corporate cardrooms to hire interim key employees, provided the employee has a valid work permit (issued by the Commission or by the local jurisdiction) and the cardroom notifies the Commission and Bureau of Gambling Control (Bureau) within 10 days of commencing work as a key employee. The key employee must then submit a completed key employee application to the Commission within 30 days.
