Message from the Director

I am pleased to announce the selection of Terresa (Teri) Ciao as the new Deputy Director of Licensing for the California Gambling Control Commission. Teri has over 30 years of State service and has held numerous increasingly responsible managerial positions, including Manager of the licensing program for the Medical Board, Administration Manager for the Department of Consumer Affairs, Chief of the Licensing Division for Consumer Affairs, Manager of e-Gov and Special Programs, Budget Officer, Deputy Bureau Chief (CEAII) for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, and Executive Officer for the Hearing Aid Bureau and the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
