Small Business Liaison

SB 1436 (Figueroa), Chapter 234, Statutes of 2006, establishes small business liaisons in each agency that significantly regulates or impacts small businesses. The small business liaison is responsible for all of the following:

• Receiving and responding to complaints received by the Commission from small business;
• Providing technical advice and assisting small businesses in resolving problems and questions; and
• Reporting small business concerns and, where appropriate, reporting recommendations to the Executive Director of the Commission.
